Terms of service

Last updated 21 Oct 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use this WorkSync service, which is operated by Dale Jefferies. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: admin@ubique-apps.co.uk.

2. What WorkSync does

WorkSync records working hours and breaks, builds weekly or monthly timesheets, and lets employers approve or reject them. It also lets linked employees and employers exchange messages and lets employers post jobs to their linked staff.

WorkSync is not a payroll service. It does not calculate tax, National Insurance, pension contributions, holiday entitlement or other deductions, and it does not pay wages. Any pay figure shown is an estimate only. Employers remain responsible for paying staff correctly and for their legal record-keeping.

3. Your account

4. Accurate records

Employees must record their own time honestly and only for businesses they actually work for. Employers must review timesheets before approving them. Approving a timesheet confirms the employer has checked it.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use WorkSync to break the law, harass anyone, send spam, upload harmful content, try to access records that aren't yours, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

6. Availability

We aim to keep WorkSync available and working correctly, but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copy of anything you need for legal or payroll purposes, such as the approved timesheets emailed to your bookkeeper.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we aren't responsible for losses arising from inaccurate records entered by users, from employers' pay decisions, or from losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using WorkSync at any time and ask for your account to be closed. Time records may be kept afterwards as described in the privacy policy.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will publish the new version here. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
